Janey Godley has announced that her scans are clear of cancer
GLASGOW comedian Janey Godley has announced that her latest scan has shown “no evidence of disease” as she thanked the NHS for saving her life in an emotional video shared on Twitter. Godley was diagnosed with ovarian cancer back in November after showing symptoms of bloating, loss of appetite, back pain and frequently needing to urinate.
She has undergone a range of treatments including chemotherapy and a hysterectomy at the start of the year. Godley announced that she had her last round of chemotherapy in May and has now followed up with more good news.
