The Glasgow restaurant is upping the ante with the launch of a super spicy new special, the ‘Hot Dog’ as the award-winning burger aficionados embrace the heat. Available now at their restaurant on 152 Woodlands Road in the west end of the city, the bravest of burger fans will be treated to a juicy double smash patty, double cheese, extra HOT house chilli, chipotle and garlic mayo and house pickles - all sandwiched in El Perro demi-brioche buns.
The new Hot Dog Burger is available now for sit in and collection orders only at El Perro Negro, Woodlands until Sunday, September 17. Instagram El Perro Negro launched as a pop-up in 2014 before they opened their first restaurant in Glasgow in 2019 and an Edinburgh branch in December 2021. The Gannet founders and owners, Peter McKenna and Ivan Stein came on board as co-owners of El Perro Negro alongside founder, Nick Watkins in 2016 with El Perro Negro winning the top prize of Best Burger in the UK at the National Burger Awards in both 2019 and 2021.
