A Chicago shooting in West Englewood near 72nd and Oakley critically injured a 12-year-old girl who was riding in a car with her family.
CHICAGO -- A 12-year-old girl who was celebrating her birthday Tuesday is in critical condition after a shooting in West Englewood, Chicago police said.
The girl was struck in the back of her head. Her family immediately drove her to Comer Children's Hospital, where she is listed in critical condition, according to Chicago police.
