The 42-year-old spent his entire NFL career with New York from 2004-2013 where he earned three consecutive Pro Bowl appearances from 2008-2010 and was a fixture of the offensive lines that anchored championship teams and protected Eli Manning in 2008 and 2012., and interviewed with general manager Joe Schoen in 2022. He spent time as a scout with the Jacksonville Jaguars before joining Boston College as an analyst in recent years.
For a Giants line that is undergoing dramatic changes this offseason, bringing Snee into the building will only help change a culture that has grown rotten since the Dave Gettleman era. New York had the second-worst offensive line in NFL history last season when they allowed 85 sacks, playing a key role in the regression and eventual season-ending injury of quarterback Daniel Jones.
At the start of free agency, Schoen was aggressive in bringing on proven veterans to turn things around and ultimately replace more than half of the line. Jon Runyan Jr. is projected to be the starting right guard while Jermaine Eluemunor bumps the disappointing Evan Neal from the starting right tackle spot.
