The mum-of-two took to her Instagram Story to share a family update hours before the BBC dance contest returns to screens
Gemma Atkinson has told fans 'I'm taking the win' before poking fun at her fiancé Gorka Marquez ahead of his return to Strictly Come Dancing. The much-loved BBC dance competition will return to screens tonight with Gorka, 33, amongst the professional dancers competing to take home the Glitterball trophy.
The Hits Radio presenter, 38, met her now-fiancé Gorka during their time in the dance contest before making their romance official the following year. The couple recently welcomed their baby son Thiago Thomas Marquez into the world in July, just over four years after their first-born, daughter Mia, was born.
Gemma has been parenting alone a lot recently as Gorka has been away in London for Strictly rehearsals with his new celebrity dance partner, who will be revealed this weekend. But after a quick trip home in between rehearsals, Gemma poked fun at her partner as she let him take on the parenting duties.
The caption over the video read: "He looked at me like s**t. Like I haven't been up to my elbows in s**t for weeks [laughing emoji]." In another Instagram Story, the mum-of-two then revealed Gorka had taken their daughter Mia to dance lessons as she thanked fans for their support for her upcoming podcast named 'The Overshare with Gemma Atkinson'.
