A para-rider whose represented GB moved councillors as she made the case for an inclusive riding facility 🐎
A competitive para rider who has represented Great Britain made a tearful plea to be able to run a disabled horse riding facility in North Lincolnshire.
She made an impassioned plea and shed tears as she made her case to councillors, including how much it meant to her. Mrs Cumberland was a rider before her accident and since then, has represented Great Britain at para show jumping events with horse Avalon Mill, after whom the equestrian centre is named.
The charity will specialise in one-to-one lessons for children with autism and other neurodiverse conditions.
