BBC Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker has revealed how the programme’s running order is picked. Fewer things can be more frustrating for a football fan than having to sit through other team’s highlights while waiting to see their club’s victory, with Lineker now offering an explanation as to why certain games are shown before others.
