In just seven hours, more than £11,000 had been raised
A fundraiser to pay for the funeral of a man found dead in Perth at the weekend has doubled its target in just seven hours.
Tributes have flooded in for the young man, known affectionately as "Chip". His devastated mother, Kerry Burgess, described him as "a big lump of fun". "I have spoken with Kerry and we all agree that he deserves the best send off. Any donations made will be highly appreciated. Left over money will be given to Cameron’s family."
Sheridan Leslie said: "He was absolutely harmless and the loveliest friend. It's horrific. I just can't wrap my head around it, it's actually broken so many people. Perth won't be the same. Everyone knew who Chip was. His poor mum is absolutely broken."
