Clad in a latticed Self-Portrait party dress and studded silver boots, Ora balances the party-girl aesthetic with comfort like a pro. “When I perform, I really just want to wear stuff that’s comfortable, and that I can move in,” she tells. In Self-Portrait, those boxes are firmly ticked. “Self-Portrait makes me feel confident. They’ve got all these different girls and silhouettes, and that’s what I love.
How does Ora prep for a night out? It always starts with a face mask and LED light, followed by all kinds of glowy serums – Augustinus Bader is a firm favourite. “You know, the hair, the make-up, the music – the music’s got to be good.” And what exactly does an international popstar listen to when they’re getting ready? “At the moment it’s a mixture of J Hus and my new album.”
