UK news: Friends left shattered as beloved young farmer, 26, dies after tragic accident
The friend of a young farmer has led a touching tribute to the 'hard working and happy' 26-year-old after he died in a tragic farming accident this week. Macauley Owen passed away at the Royal Stoke University Hospital on Friday, January 6 after becoming injured at work earlier in the week.
Now, his childhood friend, Osian Evans, has paid an emotional tribute to the young farmer who will be "truly missed", NorthWalesLive reported.The young farmer's friend wrote: "God took another angel home. You laid there in that hospital bed, you tried so hard to hold on. God was calling you home. He needed another angel to help pour out the rain.
"RIP Macauley Owen I will always cherish the moments, memories and laughter we had over the long years of friendship we shared. Always hard working, happy, smiling, laughing and joking. It’s never going to be the same without you. Rest easy brother, you will be truly missed by so many! Shine bright up there big man."
