Cropwell Bishop, near Bingham, is just 25 minutes away from Nottingham
Residents have shared what it is like to live and work in their "friendly and supportive" Nottinghamshire village. Cropwell Bishop, near Bingham, has a range of businesses, a good primary school and a population of 1,901 residents according to the 2021 census.
The village is also home to two pubs, which are understood to be quite popular. When asked, Malcolm replied: "I believe it is, I don't go myself, but I believe both The Chequers Inn and the Wheatsheaf are well visited." Graphic designer, Kathryn Clifford, 48, has lived in the village for 20 years after moving from Radcliffe on Trent. When asked why she moved to the village, the 48 year old replied: "I guess because I had a son who was nearly one and the village has a fantastic primary school right across the road and has got lots of good facilities.
She continued: "We're 15 minutes from West Bridgford and about 20 minutes from the centre of Nottingham. We have got good commuting routes everywhere but we have that lovely countryside environment.
