Multiple law enforcement agencies are asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect wanted in connection with several East Bay robberies.
In a statement Tuesday, Fremont police identified Joshua Moss-Sanders, 19, as a suspect with three warrants for his arrest in two armed robberies last year, as well as for parole violation. The Alameda County Sheriff’s Office and the state corrections department are also seeking him, police said.
In one robbery around 5:25 p.m. Aug. 29, 2021, Moss-Sanders tried to rob a person at gunpoint in the 37300 block of Fremont Boulevard. Moss-Sanders is also sought in connection with the Oct. 22, 2021, gunpoint robbery of a 7-Eleven, 1988 167th Ave. Police said they believe Moss-Sanders uses multiple identification cards, knows he is wanted in connection with the robberies and has tossed firearms out vehicle windows in order to avoid arrest during previous police pursuits.
