The Franklin County Sheriff's office is investigating after a Columbus teenager was found dead Sunday night outside a townhome building in Franklin Township.
Melione Tucker, 16, was found unresponsive from an apparent gunshot wound, lying next to a building by deputies responding to a 911 call at 11:39 p.m. Sunday about a shooting in the 4200 block of Dunbrooke Court, the sheriff's office said in a release.The incident occurred in the Havenwood Townhome Community, located off the west side of Georgesville Road near the Hollywood Casino.
No suspects in the homicide had been identified and no arrests had been made as of late Monday afternoon.Sheriff's detectives are receiving assistance from the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation, but are asking for the public's help. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the county detectives bureau at 614-525-3351.
