After surrendering the 155lb title to Benson Henderson, Edgar moved down in weight and picked up several big wins over the likes of Charles Oliveira, Cub Swanson, Urijah Faber, Chad Mendes, and Yair Rodriguez. However, despite getting two cracks at Jose Aldo, he could not dethrone the featherweight GOAT who he shared ten rounds with between 2013 and 2016.
