Lampard managed Everton and Chelsea last term in the English Premier League and has been linked with Ibrox.
Lampard has a mixed managerial record having found some success during his time at Derby and his first spell at Chelsea before eventually being axed by the English Premier League giants. He would move to Everton and ultimately lead them to survival before being shown the door and then secure and a return to Stamford Bridge as interim boss.
After a packed 12 months at Chelsea and at Goodison Park, Lampard has admitted he is taking time away from the game. It comes as the England cap has been heavily linked with a move to Rangers following the sacking of Michael Beale. Kevin Muscat has emerged as the early frontrunner to take over at the Scottish Premiership giants. However, reports south of the border suggest Lampard is on the Ibrox "shortlist" - but he appears to be enjoying life with "less stress"
Asked by Sky Sports about how he is finding life outside of management amid swirling links over a move to Rangers, he responded: “Less stress! I think it comes with the territory with managing, especially the stress of the Premier League, the expectations… in any job. "I think it’s important that you try and use the time out of the game to recharge a bit, enjoy things you don’t get the chance to do when you’re working. I’m probably in that spot at the moment."
