Le ministre français de l'Intérieur, Gérald Darmanin, a annoncé la mobilisation de 45.000 membres des forces de l'ordre et des renforts à Lyon et Marseille pour la nuit de samedi à dimanche.
La France a connu quatre nuits d'émeutes et de dégradations après la mort d'un jeune homme, abattu mardi par un policier lors d'un contrôle routier.
Comme la nuit précédente, 45.000 policiers et gendarmes seront déployés samedi soir sur tout le territoire "avec les mêmes moyens : les hélicoptères de la gendarmerie, les moyens d'intervention de la BRI, du RAID et du GIGN, les pelotons de la garde républicaine", a-t-il détaillé lors de la visite d'un commissariat à Dreux .
Trois fois cinq unités de forces mobiles seront envoyées à Marseille, à Lyon et à Grenoble, villes particulièrement touchées par les violences ces dernières 24 heures.
