Epic Games added several new features to Fortnite with the release of Chapter 4 – Season 4. Survivor Medals are one of these features, and players who upgrade these medals can unlock exclusive cosmetic items. Unfortunately, Epic recently announced that medals would reset every season, which caused a massive backlash.

Resetting these medals at the start of each season makes a lot of sense and is not a bad thing. Epic Games will likely release another exclusive Fortnite reward that can be unlocked by upgrading Survivor Medals next season. Due to this, resetting the rank is the right thing to do.
