The stars of a popular HGTV television show turned the corner near Acapulco Bay restaurant and Main Street erupted into celebration Tuesday during an event deceptively termed a “town rally.”
Moments later, Erin and Ben Napier, joined by Jenny and Dave Marrs, announced “You’re getting a Home Town Takeover.”

The requirements in the call for applicants was the town have less than 40,000 population, a Main Street in need of a “facelift” and homes with original architecture needing to be uncovered.
