Fort Bend County Animal Services is sending out a warning to families while they may be searching and posting online to find their lost pet
Losing a pet can be heartbreaking enough, as owners often spend hours desperately searching and posting online for help. Fort Bend County Animal Services said the scammer has been identified by victims as a male voice with a stutter.

We don’t even receive payment over the phone for any type of method. For us, the animal comes here, we automatically chip it. It has a tag, and we’ll be able to get the information, and we call the people," Vasquez said.
