CLEVELAND, Ohio — Growing up in nearby Hudson, Rockies right-hander Ryan Feltner attended plenty of baseball games at Progressive Field, but never one where he was standing in the center of the diamond with all eyes on him. It was a different perspective for Feltner on Tuesday, but one he certainly allowed himself to experience.
“Walking to the bullpen, I made sure to look around and stuff like that, but once I got on the mound, I just treated it as a normal start,” Feltner said. “A little extra pressure on it, just naturally being around from where I grew up. But yeah, tried to treat it as normal as I could.”
