Joshua Clark was ordered to serve more than six years in prison after he was convicted of child solicitation following a child sex sting operation. He has 30 days to file for an appeal the sentence after Wednesday, according to court records.
AVON — A former Portland police officer has been sentenced to more than six years in prison after being found guilty of trying to meet a decoy posing as an underage girl.
He'll serve a total of 2,195 days at the Indiana Department of Corrections, or approximately six years and five days, according to Hendricks Superior Court. He was suspended in May and placed on suspension after the attempted meet-up. Days after the fact, he was arrested by Avon police.
