Ford Sierra Cosworth driver caught speeding at 104mph in 30mph street handed police notice
A driver has been handed a police notice after a Ford Sierra Cosworth was caught on camera speeding at more than 100mph on a Rochdale street.
Police said traffic officers 'believe this is one of the highest speeds recorded for a Ford Sierra Cosworth'. The suspected driver of the vintage sports car has now been handed a Notice of Intended Prosecution.This is a is a document issued by the police to the registered keeper or driver of a vehicle to inform them that they may be prosecuted for a driving offence.
