Dramatic footage has been released
showing the moment drugs lord Leonard Ward and dealer Jerone Sheard were arrested following the murder of Michael Anton O'Connor. The video is a compilation from the trial of nine people convicted of his murder and sentenced to life at Nottingham Crown Court earlier this month.
His brother, Michael McGuire, was the head of the "MI Line" - for users to deal for a deal. Sheard drove a Manchester hit squad back up north after the killing of Mr O'Connor on November 10, 2021. Mr O'Connor, known to his friends and family as Anton, was stabbed in the heart by one of the hitmen, Michael Mingoes, who was 19 years old at the time.
The footage shows the car's getaway from Nottingham, and of the arrest of Leonard Ward, the head of a Nottingham OCG, who was infuriated by the takeover of his business by a rival dealer.
