It is going to be a day of chaos and frustration for many Flybe passengers after the airline went into administration
Chris Donnelly was on his way to the airport when he read an email about his cancelled Flybe flightThe airline has gone intoleaving people disappointed and forking out for alternative flights.
He managed to book an alternative flight to London Gatwick but said it was inconvenient and short notice from the airline. "And, just like last time, they were still taking peoples' money up until the day before," she wrote. "Absolutely disgusting treatment of staff and customers." This version of Flybe only began operating in April last year, it had been bought out of administration after collapsing under previous owners at the start of the pandemic in 2020.
