CCTV footage shows the masked burglar ransacking the florists inVirginia Carmen Edgar, 54, has made a plea to the thief in a bid that he returns the eight hand-carved wooden sculptures he stole.

She said: ‘What would the Queen think, he is her best friend, and she wouldn’t have wanted this to happen to him.‘We’re a small business and have been going for three years, and I don’t think it is anyone who lives nearby as they know all the hard work. ‘It has been wonderful how the community have got behind us, and even some people have given us gifts and kind donations to help out, and I can’t thank them enough.CCTV footage shows the masked burglar cut through a barbed wire fence before escaping with the three-foot-tall hand-carved wooden statue.
