In DC's Road to Dark Crisis 1, a unique story starring Flash features an awesome way of depicting his high-speed heroics. In 'Life of Purpose,' Wally is everywhere, with numbered actions to help fans 'keep up' with his speed.
In DC Comics' Road to Dark Crisis #1, a featured story starring Flash and Kid Flash depicts their heroics as speedsters in a pretty unique way. Racing around the globe to keep the world protected and remind villains the Earth still has protectors after the death of the Justice League, Wally and Wallace are on a fast-paced mission racing from one point to another.
In Road to Dark Crisis #1, the DC Universe is dealing with the fallout from the heroes of the Justice League all being killed while also bracing for the imminent Dark Crisis. This includes the Flash who's certainly handling things better than most. Holding on to his ever-present hope and optimism that everything will work out, Flash and Kid Flash go out on patrol to help where they can .
This larger panel from Kämpe is quite impressive, providing a whole new way for Flash fans to witness the speed of the Fastest Man Alive beyond the more expected use of panels on the page. It's somewhat similar to the recent one-panel Nightwing #87 from Tom Taylor and Bruno Redondo which featured no page breaks in the entire issue with multiple depictions of Dick Grayson in different sequential poses to convey the vigilante's movement.
At any rate, it would certainly be exciting if similar concepts were employed in the main Flash seres to depict his speed. A single panel featuring a handful of near-simultaneous actions by Wally and his fellow speedsters conveys just how fast they truly are in a way that's quite unique as opposed to the more traditional muli-panel format. Either way, it was still a fun way to show off Flash and Kid Flash's speed in the DC Universe .
