“Playing in an orchestra is mostly learning how to express ourselves while still listening to each other … I feel like music and playing in an orchestra is the basis of what we hope our society will function in terms of expression and communication. “Like most Eclipse performances, our concert on May 13 at the Broadway will cover a wide variety of popular music, jazz and gospel,” said chorus director Ray Sydiaha. The Saskatoon Fiddle Orchestra’s 19th anniversary spring show is a tribute to the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s.The Saskatoon Fiddle Orchestra presents its 19th anniversary show, Don’t Touch that Dial. In a tribute to the 1950s, ’60s and ’70s, the orchestra will perform songs from Johnny Cash, Elvis, The Beatles, Gordon Lightfoot and Elton John.Article content
