With the summer in full swing and the school holidays almost here, many people will be looking to take their dogs to the coast.
Skegness, Cleethorpes, Anderby Creek, Mablethorpe Town and Sutton-on-Sea all have rules against walking dogs during the summer. Chapel St Leonards can be found just a couple of miles away from the likes of Ingoldmells and Skegness, and its beach has often been praised for being part of a peaceful and scenic walking route along the coast.
On clear days you can cast your eye out along the Humber and see Spurn Point, and adjacent to the beach is a public bridal walkway that stretches along the entire beach. Many people enjoy coming for a swim in the sea at Ingoldmells, and you won’t have to leave your dog at home should you venture out this way in the school summer holidays.
Moggs Eye is regularly used for beach games, bird watching and surfing, proving to be one of the more popular seaside spots in Lincolnshire.Designated as a National Nature Reserve, a range of habitats can be found at Saltfleetby Theddlethorpe Dunes, around 15 miles from Skegness and almost six miles from Sutton-on-Sea.
