The Colorado Bureau of Investigation issued its first Missing Indigenous Person Alert for a 27-year-old man who was last seen in Denver.
Wanbli Vigil was last seen about 2 p.m. Dec. 29, 2022, in the 3400 block of West 13th Avenue, just off of Knox Court, according to Denver police. According to a Thursday night tweet from the Denver Police Department, Vigil was found dead in the 3400 block of West Conejos Place. A death investigation is underway, but his death is not considered suspicious, according to the tweet.
ALERT: Missing person Wanbli Vigil has been located in the 3400 block of W Conejos Pl. The victim was pronounced deceased on scene and a death investigation is underway. This death does not appear to be suspicious in nature at this time.
