“It’s been good — everyone’s kind of contributing and stepping into their role, whatever that may be, and it brings competitiveness to practice and stuff like that. It’s worked out. We’ve had all our guys get wins in important games so that rotation really worked for us.” “Jake has pretty much slid into a starting role for us — he’s getting great with it,” said McKay. “But on any given night those guys can contribute as well. For the most part, Jake has taken that role and done super well with it and those other guys are there to support a tonne and possibly come in on any given night. If the matchup is right, they can see some time, as well.
Rapin graduated from high school in 2017. He played one season for the Red Deer College Kings before transferring to the U of S. He was supposed to finish his U Sports eligibility last year but the COVID pandemic pause extended his playing time one year.Three Canada West teams will qualify for the U Sports national championship. Should the Huskies win this weekend, they will advance to the semifinal round and have two chances to nail down a nationals berth.
