Police and fire crews are at the scene on the exit slip road of the M57 in Kirkby
Merseyside police and Merseyside fire and rescue service were called to the exit slip round at J6, northbound, of the M57 at around 8am on Tuesday, October 24. At the scene they found a Range Rover was on fire.
A Merseyside police spokesperson confirmed they were at the scene assisting Merseyside fire and rescue service. A spokesperson for the fire service said :"Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service attended an incident at the M57 J6 Kirkby Interchange earlier this morning. "One firefighter wearing breathing apparatus under general observation began fighting the fire with a hose reel jet. The fire was soon extinguished and crews remained on scene to hot spot the area. At 9.14am crews handed the scene over to Merseyside Police and left."
