Overnight storms could be noisy and strong for those that tap into them
The past few weeks have brought rounds of beneficial rain to South Central Texas. Another chance arrives this weekend before a cold front clears us out and cools us down into the start of next week.Another round of storms will be possible overnight Saturday, mainly across the Hill Country and Southern Edwards Plateau
Storms are expected to fire up out west around/just after midnight, and gradually track east through the pre-dawn hours of Sunday. Current trends suggest that these storms could weaken as they approach I-35, but a few lingering showers/a stray storm may still move into the San Antonio area around sunrise Sunday, before the front sweeps through and clears us out for the remainder of the day.
Sunshine returns by lunchtime but it will be a windy end to the weekend, with healthy northwest winds gusting upwards of 25-30 mph at times.
