A spokesman for U.S. Sen. John Fetterman said Monday that there was 'no real news to report' on the senator's ongoing voluntary hospital stay for treatment of clinical depression.
Fetterman, 53, voluntarily entered Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in suburban Maryland on Feb. 15.after complaining of feeling lightheadedFetterman spent two days at George Washington University Hospital where doctors determined that he had not suffered another stroke or any seizures, his office said.
“We understand the intense interest in John’s status and especially appreciate the flood of well wishes,” Calvello said. “However, as we have said, this will be a weeks-long process and while we will be sure to keep folks updated as it progresses, this is all there is to give by way of an update.” Calvello said that Fetterman’s staff is “moving full speed ahead” with work, such as opening an Erie office last week and preparing to open other regional offices soon.
