At this point in the season, I would hang onto Kupp. Even if you lost Week 1, the season’s just begun. Kupp can return as early as Week 5, and he’s one of a handful of players who can single-handedly lead you to a championship. Try to pick up some help off the wire as a band-aid until he’s back, and if you hit on a waiver wire gem, your team is even better with Kupp’s return.With that being said, if a few weeks go by and your season has taken a nosedive, that changes things.
I was touting Brandon Aiyuk all preseason and he made me look good Week 1. I was in on him coming into the year thanks to his performance with a ghastly quarterback situation, setting career highs across the board in 2022. While Aiyuk won’t average over 30 points per game, I do expect him to continue to put up high end WR2 numbers with plenty of WR1 weeks mixed in. If you believe
can be just a suitable quarterback, Aiyuk has the talent to finish inside the Top 12. Keep him and enjoy the ride.
