A family was arrested Wednesday following the robbery of a North Carolina Waffle House restaurant two days earlier.
The Hillsborough Police Department arrested Tamiko Lashun Jones and Tony Eugene Lemon, both of Marshall, Texas, and Diamond Walton, of Longview, Texas, and charged all three with robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, and defrauding an innkeeper.In addition, police received help from the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S.
Marshals Service, as all three had similar outstanding charges in Louisiana. A family of six entered the Shelby Waffle House only days after they allegedly committed a similar crime in Louisiana.Lemon pulled out a handgun after his family had quickly eaten, authorities say. The suspects then left in separate cars – one, a burgundy Ford F-150 truck, and the other, a newer model silver Ford Fusion sedan, both of which had Texas plates.
