A family of three in a double murder-suicide at a North Side apartment has been identified.
Shannon Martinez, 37SAPD public information officer Jennifer Rodriguez said their bodies were found at 8:30 a.m. Monday at the Winding Creek Apartments in the 13100 block of NW Military Highway, near Wurzbach Parkway.
A relative of one of the victims grew concerned when they hadn’t heard from them since Saturday, Rodriguez said. The relatives went to the complex and asked San Antonio police to conduct a welfare check.“This appears to be a domestic situation,” Rodriguez said earlier this week.Rodriguez said SAPD would investigate if there was a history of domestic violence. Neighbors said they heard a scream earlier in the day but never could have guessed what happened.
