Family Dollar is recalling certain over-the-counter drugs and 'medical devices' regulated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.The FDA on Tuesday shared Family Dollar's announcement of the voluntary recall. In it, the company said the items being recalled 'were stored outside of labeled temperature requirements by Family Dollar and inadvertently shipped to certain stores.
Family Dollar said that, to date, it has not received any consumer complaints or reports of illness related to the voluntary recall and that the recall has been issued 'out of an abundance of caution.'Family Dollar explains that the recall 'goes to the retail store level,' and that not all of the products listed were sent to all stores.
