As long as the deal itself has been agreed between all parties before the 11pm deadline, the clubs can submit a ‘deal sheet’ to the Premier League stating they need an extension — a maximum of two hours. For this window, that would give them until 1am BST on Saturday, September 2 to complete and submit the full paperwork.
