Lilly Whitworth, 19, faces multiple charges following an investigation into threats involving schools in Colorado Springs Academy District 20, according to the 18th Judicial District Attorney’s Office.
On March 31, a deputy with the Elbert County Sheriff’s Office was sent to 13915 Double Tree Ranch Circle in Elbert on a report of a disturbance and that the suspect had threatened to “shoot up a school.”
Deputy Mike Watters, in the affidavit, described the residence as being cluttered and filled with trash. Whitworth was contacted in her room, which was also in a state of disarray. The suspect had been sleeping, and remained drowsy as Watters asked questions.
