Former Indiana State Trooper David Camm, who was convicted twice at trial of murdering his wife and two children but acquitted by a third jury, has been paid $4.6 million by the state of Indiana to settle claims that he was maliciously prosecuted and wrongly imprisoned. Camm, who spent about 13 years in prison, had asked for $30 million when he filed suit in 2014, but Adams said that was a"cap and nothing else."David Camm wanted $30M after he was acquitted of killing his family, but a judge says no way Camm claimed state and local police and prosecutors conspired to frame him and bungled their investigation.
