Ex-Goldman Sachs CEO Lloyd Blankfein takes a jab at NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio on Twitter: 'On the bright side, if DeB gets elected prez, we New Yorkers will lose his undivided attention a year ahead of schedule'
San Francisco Lloyd Blankfein may not be the most active Twitter user, but when he tweets, he sends a message.
His first tweet in June 2017 criticized President Trump's decision to back out of the Paris climate pact. His second tweet was a strong call for American leadership. "On the bright side, if DeB gets elected prez, we New Yorkers will lose his undivided attention a year ahead of schedule," said Blankfein in the tweet.The former Goldman Sachs CEO has tweeted 52 more times since then — each a cheeky commentary on current events.
