ICYMI: Evraz steelworkers say they’ll hold Trudeau’s ‘feet to the fire’ over Abramovich sanctions
Scott Lunny, a United Steelworkers Director for Western Canada and the Territories, said Friday that while the union supports Canadian sanctions on oligarch Roman Abramovich, he doesn’t want workers to be affected by them.
“The Prime Minister says the sanctions will not impact domestic workers at Evraz and we will hold his feet to the fire to ensure Canadian workers will not be harmed by the sanctions imposed on Abramovich,” he continued.
