Jamie Carragher has slammed PGMOL's use of VAR during Liverpool's defeat to Tottenham Hotspur - insisting the technology is almost at a "crisis point".
Speaking on Monday Night Football, former Liverpool defender Carragher took aim at VAR and PGMOL for their handling of the situation and belives it will be difficult for referees chief Howard Webb to emerge from the incident with any credibility.READ MORE: Gary Neville and Liverpool rivals should be careful what they wish forJamie Carragher: "I think VAR has been a topic over the last few years for various reasons. I don’t think the feeling around VAR has ever been lower.
"The ball now goes out of play, nothing significant has happened in the game, it’s been 30 seconds since that incident has happened in the game, it now takes Liverpool 27 seconds for the ball to come back into play, and they are saying they stayed within protocol about not having to stop it, I don’t believe that.
