ERCOT prepares for record demand with triple digit heat expected this week
It's not even officially summer yet but the heat is building and heat advisories are expected later this week when temperatures soar past 100. ERCOT set a record demand for energy last July 20th but expects that record to be broken and soon.

Dallas organization provide summer camps for vulnerable kids - KRLD NewsInterfaith Family Servicesempowers families in crisis to break the cycle of poverty. The nonprofit provides housing for families (96% are single mothers) who are homeless, and rent-assistance to help others remain in their homes. NWS: hail up to 4' reported in North Texas - KRLD NewsYou never know when severe weather will hit in North Texas. The ingredients for huge hail all came together on Sunday, and damage reports are still coming in. The National Weather Service in Fort Worth says hail up to 4 inches in diameter was reported in Flower Mound (southern Denton County). Large hail was also reported in nearby Bartonville, Highland Village, Copper Canyon and Lewisville. In Collin County, hail up to 2 inches was reported in Frisco. And in Rockwall County, 2 inch hail was reported in Fate and Rockwall, and baseball-sized hail reported in Royse City. National Worth Service Fort Worth meteorologist Bianca Garcia joined KRLD's John Liddle to review the impact of Sunday's storms, and what we could see Monday.
