Stand-in India captain Jasprit Bumrah on BBC Test Match Special:
"Test cricket is never easy. We never expect any easy games - that is why we love it. If you've had three days, you've still got to come back and put in good performances. That is what happened. We had three good days and we were a little short with the bat and we let the opposition in. "Test cricket is hard and every day you have to keep fighting and keep coming up with good performances. That is the beauty of it. We fell short on the fourth day and we let the opposition in.
"We felt we had a chance this morning. We went in with very good intensity, obviously things didn't work out but we gave it our absolute bets and then we're accepting of the result. "I haven't give too much thought to how England are playing cricket, but if we're executing our cricket and ticking all the boxes then we would have been in a very good space. But whatever works for England, good for them. If that is a sustainable way, that is for them to work out."
