Forget the preppy over-the-shoulder or the sporty crossbody tie — EmRata has a new way to style knitwear this autumn.
Oh, the humble sweater. It’s fast becoming a versatile accessory in our autumn wardrobes – whether you wear it over-the-shoulder or across the body – rather than worn an actual jumper. Nobody knows this better, apparently, than Emily Ratajkowski, who took the concept of sleeves-as-adornment to a whole new level. The model was spotted in New York this week in a grey knitted jumper dress.
She then kept the accessories to a minimum, wearing small, chunky gold hoop earrings, holding a pair of dark sunglasses and carrying a black crossbody bag. This isn’t the first time the model and author has worn this look. In September, she attended the US Open men’s finals alongside Justin Theroux and Ziwe while wearing the same dress. That time, however, she chose to accessorise it with darker shades, wearing a pair of black, knee-high boots, black oval sunglasses and a black shoulder bag.
