RuPaul's Drag Race UK star Ellie Diamond has led the tributes to Cherry Valentine after it was announced they had tragically died aged 28.
"As his family, we are still processing his death and our lives will never be the same. We understand how much he is loved and how many lives he has inspired and touched. "George was a truly special person with enormous talent and a bright future ahead. He lit up a room, touched so many peoples lives and few could forget his infectious laugh which I will miss terribly."
The post said: "I am so sad to even begin thinking about posting this! Cherry brought so much life and laughs to whatever situation! "We met back in June at Epsom - so full of life then, it’s hard to believe. Sending love to George’s family & friends, just heartbreaking."
