BREAKING: Elderly man dies in hospital days after being hit by car
The crash happened on Sheepfoot Lane, near the junction with Oldham Road, at around 8.10am on Monday morning . Police said previously a Hyundai i10 car was being driven east along the road when the man - aged in his 80s - began to cross over using his walking frame.
No arrests have been made. Any witnesses are now being urged to come forward to Greater Manchester Police.
