Homicide detectives were investigating a El Cerrito Sunday afternoon slaying of a man in the 900 block of Galvin Drive.
Officers responded to a report of shots being fired in the 900 block of Galvin Drive at around 4:32 p.m. 911 callers reported to police they had heard multiple shots being fired.
Unfortunately, the victim died from his injuries at the hospital. The Contra Costa County Sheriff's Coroner Division has identified the victim as Sincere Martin of Oakland .
