EastEnders star Rita says she 'so proud' of her daughter following in her footsteps
EastEnders actress Rita Simons has been offering her support to her daughter as she appears in her first major TV project.
Maiya plays Kaz in Silverpoint, a 13-part drama about four kids who went missing in the woods in 1997. Mum Rita shared the trailer to the series to Instagram earlier this month, saying she was a “PROUD MAMA ALL THE WAY!” "She’s only just 15, she’s had to do all the cleaning and cooking, washing for herself. I’m very proud of her."
